High Rise Compactors
The typical application for this compactor is high rise buildings with a chute-fed trash room. Waste is placed into the vertical chute from each floor dropping down to the compactor. As the waste builds up in the compactor charge chamber, a photo electric eye beam is broken and the compactor starts packing the waste into a container that is attached to the compactor. When the waste cycles through and is compacted into the container, the beam reconnects and shuts the compactor off and waits for the next load. The high rise compactor can also be loaded from the ground floor directly into the compactor. The compactor can be operated in an auto mode or in a manual mode. This compactor is ideal for small spaces with or without being chute fed.
