Vertical balers are ideal for back room recycling of cardboard, paper, and plastics.  Material is manually loaded into the bale chamber through a safety interlocked gate.  When the gate is closed, the baler started.  The material is compressed under high hydraulic force.  The platen then rises and the baler automatically turns off and awaits the next load.  When the bale reaches the ideal size, an operator ties off the baler with baling wire and releases the bale from the baling chamber.

Sizes of vertical balers range of 48″ to 72″.
